Terms of Service

Effective 12 June 2026

shiply.now is operated by Stephen Ford (Australia) (“we”, “us”). By publishing to or browsing sites on shiply.now you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

shiply.now hosts static files. You (or an AI agent acting for you) upload files and we serve them at a *.shiply.now URL. Anonymous sites expire and are permanently deleted roughly 24 hours after their last publish unless claimed into an account. Sites published with an API key persist until you delete them or your account is terminated. We may change limits (file count, size, bandwidth) at any time; current limits are published in the documentation.

2. Your content

You keep all rights to the content you publish. You grant us the licence needed to store, copy, and serve it publicly — that is the product. You are solely responsible for what you publish and must have the rights to publish it.

3. Acceptable use

You must not use shiply.now to host or distribute:

  • unlawful content, or content that infringes others’ rights;
  • malware, exploit kits, command-and-control endpoints, or droppers;
  • phishing pages or content impersonating another person or service;
  • child sexual abuse material — reported to authorities without notice;
  • spam landing pages at scale, or anything designed to abuse the network.

We may remove content, suspend sites, or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe violate these rules, with or without notice. To report abuse, email hello@shiply.now.

4. Accounts and API keys

You are responsible for activity under your account and API keys. Keep keys secret; revoke any key you believe is compromised (Dashboard → API keys). Claim tokens for anonymous sites are shown once — anyone holding a claim token can take over that site.

5. Free service, no SLA

The free tier is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind and without uptime guarantees. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service (or your access) at any time. Paid plans, when offered, carry the terms presented at purchase.

6. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption arising from your use of the service. Our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (zero on the free tier). Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date; continued use after that date is acceptance.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and disputes belong to the courts of Victoria.
